Commisiion of the Indio spirits! 1 little, 2 little...7 little Indios!

Indio Spiritism Indio Cordon

Brave, strong, and reliable, the Commission of Indio spirits (the Indio mysteries comprised of the Indio Court and the Indio Division) are near central to the Puerto-Rican lineage of Vodou or Sanse. The influence of the Indios is what makes Puerto-Rican Vodou as much as the Petro Loa make Haitian Vodou.

For clarification purposes, the Commission or Court of the Indio Spirits is different than the Indio Division. Sanse or Puerto-Rican Vodou is the 7 Chief Loa or Mysteries and the 21 Commissions or Courts of Spirits. The Indio Division is on the of the 7 Divisions headed by Tinjo Alawe, one of the 7 Chief Loa or Mysteries. Tinjo Alawe is a Loa who is not of African origin, but instead Taino and Arawak native peoples. The Loa of the Indio Divison also are mostly not of African descent, and likely include the Cemi, great supernatural beings of Taino and Arawak veneration.

The Commission or Court of the Indios is part of the 21 Commissions of Spirits. These are spirits of the human dead who were native to the land they lived and died. Native Americans, native South Americans (Caboclos of Brazilian Umbanda), and Islander peoples. Obviously the Taino, Arawak, and Carribean people of Cuba, the island of Hispanola and Puerto-Rico. It would also include native peoples of any land you live on, also entailing ancient native Europeans, depending on where you live.

There is even a more profound mystery surrounding this situation. However, that is for the members of my Temple. For this posting, I will focus on the importance of the Indio Commission of spirits in respects to the cosmology of Puerto-Rican Vodou or Sanse. Cosmologically speaking, the break down of New World Vodou (Haitian, Dominican, and Puerto-Rican) begins with God. God is the Supreme Creator and to whom are attributed the titles Papa Buen Dios and Bondye.

As far as we know, the next rung down from God (at least where humans are concerned) are three cosmic Loa. Gran Solier, Gran Toro Sentao, and Gran Simbi Rey del Aqua. These three Loa has various dominions over the Solar energies and raw forces, which are prime motivators-drivers on earth. These Loa never directly interfere with human affairs but instead, send emissaries on their behalf to mount humans and teach what is ready to be known about them. These three cosmic Loa each oversee a particular branch of New World Vodou, Gran Solier over Dominican, Gran Toro Sentao over Haitian, and Gran Simbi Rey del Agua over Puerto-Rican.

The Taino people's native religion and spiritual hierarchy have as it's king or great Sky Father, their principle Cemi (Gods and Divine Ancestors) known as Yocahu. Yocahu is Gran Simbi Rey del Aqua. For this reason, the Court of the Indios and their spiritual mysteries are central to the tradition of Sanse. Gran Simbi Rey del Aqua means "The Grand Simbi who reigns/is King of the Cosmic Waters." This is yet another essential function of Sanse or Puerto-Rican Vodou. One of the Christian images used for Gran Simbi Rey del Aqua (sometimes also known as King Molinu) is Jesus after being baptized by John the Baptist (the Commission of the Johns/Juans and Marias are paramount to the crowned Priest/Priestess or Sancista). The importance of water within Sanse, in both it's metaphysical and physical state, cannot be overstated.

An initiate is brought to the river, the domain of the Indio spirits. In the presence of Gran Simbi Rey del Agua, and under the authority of Tinjo Alawe and another powerful initiatory Loa named "King of the Sweet Waters," he or she receives baptism. Water for the transference of spiritual energy continues past initiation. Sanse makes heavy use of prepared baths and washes. Water molecules are subject to transformation via vibration, changing the nature of the water to fit the desire of the medium or Sancista. Magnetized and charged waters to heal the sick and promote better overall wellbeing have long been associated with Mesmerism and Alan Kardec Spiritism. Kardec Spiritism is a foundation of Sanse, and so this tradition lives on in both Puerto-Rican Vodou and Espiritismo.

Mounted by an Indio Chief I give consults and blessings
In my Temple, mediums will get mounted" by a spirit and then prepare spiritual washes per the needs of the attendees. The wash is made using the available waters, perfumes, lotions, and alcohols on the altar table. Prayers are spoken over the prepared water, and spiritual hand passes made over the water. The attendees are then washed by their needs and under the direction of the officiating spirit.

The Indio Division and Commission are said to be that of water, which we have discussed, but also air. Of equal importance as water to the mysteries of the Indios and thereby Puerto-Rican Vodou or Sanse, is the messenger and intermediary spirt, Tobacco. The Taino people venerated the messenger spirit Tobaku (where we get the word Tobacco from). They asked Tobaku to lift their songs and prayer Yocahu (Gran Simbi Rey del Aqua) with the smoke. Smoke is the spirit of Tobaku released from his physical body of dried leaves by fire, a sacrifice mystery. Many of the Indio Loa and members of the Indio court of spirits have connections to the dominions of air, wind, Tobacco, and water.

Puerto-Rican Vodou temples would do well to offer regular gratitude and reverence to the Indios and their mysteries. Or else they can find themselves lacking in necessary spiritual supports.

The Commission of Indios is renown for its warriors, healers, medicine workers, and chiefs/chieftess. They are empowered by their native soil and followed by legions of animal and plant spirits. Indios are called to lift hexes, defeat black magic, subdue adversaries, break evil's hold, and navigate tricky obstacles. Like the 7 Chief Loa of Sanse with their Divisions of Loa, there is a form of Indio spiritism, a tremendous stand-alone tradition by itself, which I have inherited. There are 7 lines or categories of Indio spirits within the Court of the Indios, who are called to work.

  1. Indio of Peace.
  2. Indio Liberator.
  3. Indio Warrior.
  4. Indo Brave.
  5. Indio Valient.
  6. Indio of Power.
  7. Indio of Strength.

Each line comprises multitudes of Indio spirits and is headed by a Chief. The names of these Chiefs are secret to tradition I inherited and may or may not be the same for other lineages of Indio Spiritism. Due to secrecy and general rarity of the practice, it is likely I will never know. Indio spiritism is often called "Indio Cordon."

Indio Cordon
A cordon is a "circling," like how they say "circle the wagons." It is a defensive formation. Through the Indio Cordon, the medium or Sancista asks for the Court of the Indio spirits to surround within 7 defensive circles. During an Indio Cordon, ample amounts of Tobacco, water, and alcohol are offered to the spirits and then utilized for cleansings and purifications. An atmosphere of welcomed mounting is cultivated, and the Indio spirits will often provide excellent advice during consultations. It is a beautiful and uplifting experience.

An active Sanse temple ought to be holding an Indio Cordon once every three months. More if the Temple is new or engaged in spiritual deliverance.

I perform an Indio Cordon weekly for myself and my Temple, here is why. As I was first developing my tradition of Indio Spiritism, unbeknownst to me, some petty people were spreading lies about me. Their lives turned to shit. They ran to Paleros and Babalawos, begging for protection against the black magic I was supposedly throwing at them. One of those nitwits Doxxed me on Reddit and posted old some addresses I once lived. A Redditor came looking for me at one of the addresses. Whoever lived there knocked the absolute snot out of them (they were lucky I would have done worse). I am uncertain if it is sad or funny, but I didn't discover any of it until more than a year after.

Was I sending black magic at them? No, none at all. I was, however, establishing a solid connection with the Court of Indio spirits and developing a highly effective spiritual practice. Sanse or Puerto-Rican Vodou doesn't attack people. I invite these spanked and schooled fools to meditate on the mystery of the Rose and the Thorn. The thorns do not offensively attack. They injure only with the exact measure of force they where grabbed. Want the pain to stop? Let go. Those morons did it all to themselves. The Indio Cordon is the exact same. I ask that all who seek to injure, slander, or send evil at me and my Temple discover we are protected by the marvelous Court of the Indios spirits. That their lives be ruined until they stop attempting to do harm. Indio Spiritualism and Sanse is a religion which is like a thorny rose. Beautiful, desired, and offering formidable protection, which clearly defines your enemies as the aggressors.

A powerful offering made  from myself to the Indios!
The Court of the Indio spirits is served with blue, green, and yellow. They enjoy Tobacco, water, red wine, and cornmeal. You may offer them cooked yams, squash, and bread.

Offer the Prayer of the Indian Chief and get very still. The Court of the Indios spirits talks through the wind, the rustling of leaves and plants, through bird songs and flowing water. The stiller and quieter you can become, the better.

Prayer to the Indian Chief

Oh, Great Chief, faithful Indian Spirit. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, I, a faithful believer in your power, ask you at this moment to help me. Oh, Great Spirit, you know my problems. Help me with your power and guide me with your holy and divine protection. Oh, Great Indian Spirit, I ask you in the name of Jesus, offer me your protection, and with your ax break the chains that my enemies bind me with spiritually and in all money matters. With the poison of your arrows destroy the evil thoughts against me. With your eyes, see that no one does me harm in any way. Amen. Ayibobo.

The Sanse practiced at my Temple is advanced, becoming better and more refined. My Temple and I will continue to revere the Commission of Indio spirits, developing and progressing spiritually while offering prayers for the advancement of everyone else.  Interested in learning authentic Sanse, Puerto-Rican Voudou, and Indio Spiritism? Anima Sola... it is best you don't...but since you are going too anyway...

Anima Sola
La Santisima Muerte, Saint Cyprian, La Madama, Black Hawk, Saint Expedite, and now introducing the newest flavor of the month for the cult of wanna-be sorcerers (CWS)...Anima Sola.  Maybe, just maybe, Anima Sola will give CWS what sever lack of dedication, zero practice and bewildering apprehension towards authentic initiation has thus far kept out of their reach...authority and credibility. And if not (a definite not) rest assured their will be (there WILL be) a new saint or spirit's mystery to exploit and tarnish.

Just like La Madama, Anima Sola comprises a vast legion of spirits. There is not an Anima Sola but an untold mass of millions and millions of dead who are Anima Solas. As stated Anima Sola are the spirits of earthbound (but more earthbound than earthbound) dead who are, because of a myriad of reasons, alone or lost and or trapped in the earth plane. Anima Sola suffer significant torrents, as such they are distressed and desperate...which means they are very dangerous.

Similar to how a drowning man can inadvertently pull his would be rescuers under alongside with him, Anima Solas can very easily become disastrous to those trying to offer them "light and progress", no matter what the intention is behind the act of kindness. Let that be a lesson to those sadly afflicted with the idiocy of the new-age... love and light does NOT inherently protect you from anything...never has and never will.

So what is the reason for attracting the attention of the Anima Solas?

This is largely answered by both your spiritual tradition and intentions.

From the perspective of Espiritismo-Spiritism (Scientific-Kardecian, Criollo and even Umbanda, Maria Lionza and to some degree Palo and Kimbanda) it is the oath and duty of priest or priestess to offer light and progress to the dead. It is the will of God, that all "his" children/creations eventually attain their highest potential. It is rewarding spiritual work as many times the dead you elevate offer help in return and will ask higher level spirits to also give you their blessing. In the Espiritismo-Spiritism Maria LIonza, and Umbanda traditions this progression is offered freely with no expectation of help in return (however its nice when the kindness is paid back and it usually is). In traditions like Palo Mayombe and Kimbanda pacts and bargains can be struck to ensure that aid is secured by the dead the Tata or Yaya (priest or priestess) offers light and progress too.

The initiated priest or priestess of those aforementioned traditions have been given the license and authority by very powerful high level spirits to safely work with the dead. But, even with that same license and authority, we priests and priestess still handle the Anima Solas with special gloves. If earthbound dead are seen as "hot" then Anima Solas are typically "lava hot". Individuals who are not initiated drawing the attention of the Anima Sola is generally egregiously stupid. All anyone needs to do is research the deteriorating mental health, and increase of domestic abuse and murder/suicides among so-called paranormal researchers...and  they are not dealing with Anima Solas... but earthbound dead.

From a black magic perspective, if the earthbound dead are known to work quickly (because of their close proximity to the material plane) then the Anima Sola work just that much faster. Also... where earthbound dead can often want specific things in return for their aid, and may or may not be willing to do the work you want it to preform (often for moral reasons) the Anima Sola are extremely desperate and willing work for just candle light and water. Also the desperation of the Anima Sola means they are willing to do anything to get that light and water. Imagine a man being slowly broken on a rack for hours upon hours. The pain caused by having his body pulled apart is also pulling apart his sanity. He can become so distressed and desperate that he would be willing to do or say anything to make the torture stop.

Anima Sola in this way are used as the "intranquil spirits" to dominate, control and destroy.

Light and water act as a reprieve to an Anima Sola's torment, and thus the Anima Sola becomes very dependent on them. A priest/ess or sorcerer using the Anima Sola for evil or questionable purposes is not elevating the Anima Sola out of their torment, only staving it off for a time, and keeping the Anima Sola in it's "hell" because in order to get the light and water it must do evil or at the very least questionable things. The sorcerer and the enslaved Anima Sola enter into a strange relationship. The Anima Sola wants the light and water that the sorcerer offers, but is kept imprisoned in its own hell by the acts it must do it order to get the light and water. The sorcerer, sooner than latter, becomes the target of the Anima Sola, and because Anima Sola is legion, he or she (unless extremely both powerful and knowledgeable) is now oppressed by many exceedingly angry vengeful dead to give them light and water, and now whatever else they want (generally vices like cigars, alcohol, drugs and porn...but also blood) with no aid in return, simply to alleviate the oppression...for a time.

A lay person, the internet trained spiritualist, the new-ager, is many, many more times than not, simply unable to handle the aggressive and desperate nature of the Anima Sola. These well meaning but misguided people, whether they are trying to elevate the dead or exploit them, will be quickly overrun and turned into a slave of the Anima Sola.

Because the Anima Sola will soon (assuming they are not already... I avoid YouTube like a plague of stupidity that is also somehow infected with AIDS... so I would not know) be the topic of numerous YouTube videos made by morons... I will detail the ONLY safe way to help the Anima Sola and "maybe", hopefully receive their grace and blessing for your good works.

First NO images! NONE. There is an iconic lithograph of a woman, often in chains, and surrounded by flames. This image is used by initiated priests and priestess, of which many of you are probably not, and this lithograph becomes a focal point... you are not ready to have this type pf energy "pool" and condense in your working/living space.

You are to offer the Anima Sola these three things and these three things ONLY:

1. A glass of COLD water.
2. A single WHITE candle.
3. Prayer.

"Hear mortal men, the cries of the imprisoned soul, alone and abandoned in a dark prison. Anima Sola, soul of peace and war. Soul of sea and of land. I desire that all that I have lost be returned.
Anima Sola, you who are alone and abandoned, I accompany you in your grief.
I take pity upon you.For I know of the grief and suffering you must endure within your harsh and long imprisonment. I offer you this prayer and glass of water because I desire to lessen your pain and quench your thirst. Sad Soul, Lonely Soul, no one calls you, But I call you. No one looks for you, but I seek you out.
No one loves you, but I adore you. No one remembers you, but I keep you in my heart. I offer you this lit candle so that you may find your way into the light. In this moment I offer to you my meritorious labour, and all that I have suffered, suffer and will suffer in this life, even though it can never compare to yours. I humbly pray that you finish paying for your mortal sins of the flesh so that you may find the grace of God, and be lifted from your imprisonment, With your grace you shall be my benefactor."

You will do this only ONE time a week. You will make NO promises and you will NOT ask for anything specific.

Place a glass of COLD water on the ground or on a table with NO other religious symbols other than maybe a cross (One of the OLDEST religious symbols and not owned by any single religion... it is a symbol for among the highest understanding of "God", or the Highest of the High).

Place a WHITE candle next to the glass of water.

1. Make the sign of the Kabbalistic cross over your body (forehead, navel, right shoulder, and left shoulder).

2. Light the WHITE candle (which should not be a seven day candle but a 3-6 hour candle).

3. Offer the following prayer.

Now be done for the rest of the week. DO NOT sit in front of the candle and water and meditate on the Anima Sola. DO NOT sit and talk to the Anima Sola, DO NOT tell them your troubles or make specific requests of them. You are offering this act as an act of good will. You are saying you want what you have lost to be returned to you and that they should be your benefactor, but that is it. It will be up to the Anima Sola to decide to help you, and/or you will receive the blessing of higher level beings for giving the Anima Sola elevation.

If after a FULL year of honoring the Anima Sola is this EXACT way and you want to do more... you may contact me and we will discuss what more you can safely do in order to deepen your practice.

Goetic Daemon possession and medium's trance. Goetic Spiritism.

I am gracious my Godfather school me in the 72 configuration of the Ars Goetia, otherwise known as the daemons of the Lesser Key of Solomon,  but it is not the magical protocol of the Lesser Key of Solomon my temple nor I use to interact with the goetic daemons.

Instead I was grounded into the little known spiritualist tradition of the "Black Table", a Ceremonial or Ritual High Magic version of seance practiced by the White Table spiritualists via Alan Kardec, and with the Grimorium Verum as it's occultic foundation.

Why this is exactly is a secret to my temple, but I will provide one clue.

Should you compare the sigils of the goetic daemons contained in the Grimorium Verum to the sigils of any daemon in the 72 configuration of the Lesser Key of Solomon ( for example: Khil and King Asmoday), you will probably note that one of the two sigils would be easier to draw during a medium's trance and or under possession.

Possession by goetic daemons is a very real phenomena and serves to confirm and authenticate the practice itself.

Like the Loa of Voudu, or Simbis, Sambis and Mambis of my rama of Palo Mayombe, the goetic daemons are independent non-physical intelligences which operate/exist for all intents and purposes without the consent or conscious awareness of human beings.

What this means is that you cannot imagine goetic daemons away, and no matter how adept a mental gymnast you may or may not be, there are consequences to summoning them because they do not need your permission to leverage effect on the physical world.

During a Black Table spiritual session, it is desirable to coax a goetic daemon to take full possession of an attendee.

A full possession means that the personality and waking consciousness of the physical host is temporarily ejected while the goetic daemon interfaces directly with the brain (not the mind) of the physical host and, for a little while, assumes motor control as well as vocal and sensory directives.

In this state the goetic daemon may communicate directly with the Master of Ceremonies (who leads the Black Table) and the other attendees. The goetic daemon may also move about the confines of the ritual space, and or demonstrate supernatural and or psychic abilities.

The goetic daemon while interfacing with the brain of the physical host will usually, for the time it is utilizing the person's body, unlock the many startling potentials we all have hidden inside us, and use those latent abilities to administer to the attendees.

The physical host will have extremely limited, if any at all, knowledge or memory of what happened while possessed.

Not uncommonly when the personality of the physical host returns, after the goetic damon has departed, they will find these abilities still somewhat available to them and if they are smart the person will seize on maintaining and developing those abilities rather than letting them become locked away again.

Medium's trance with the goetic daemon Guland.
In my personal work with the Goetic daemons I will fall into a medium's trance, and establish what is sometimes called a "two-headed" possession.

In this state I am still in full control of my motor functions, and both verbal and sensory facilities.

However the goetic daemon is deeply intertwined and can strongly influence my actions, but it is still me who makes the conscious choice of what it is I will or will not do.

The goetic daemon is also very close to my brain and communication is greatly amplified.

Full possession to take place while I am alone is just unproductive as I would not be conscious to wittiness, nor will I remember it.

All full possessions have the sensation of dying attached to them as the personality of the physical host is being ejected.

The person feels distressed, a dizzying sinking feeling general follows, breathing starts to get difficult and their consciousness begins to fade.

It is never comfortable or particularly pleasant.

Now in full possession under a goetic daemon it gets even more eerie.

The goetic daemons have never been carnated, never been born and are not spirits of the dead.

They don't have experience being human and their minds/intelligence have never been anchored into a physical brain.

They have a truly noticeable frequency that is airy, expansive and hot.

The physical host often experiences vertigo, if as they are being turned inside out physical and mentally.

I also hear a loud howling wind over what sounds like an old dial up modem when a goetic daemon is in the act of possessing me.

In a medium's trance is how I work my goetic practice, make goetic items, channel instructions, do divination, consultations, and ultimately any goetic sorcery.

In a medium's trance I feel the tell tale sensation of an outside energy slipping between my energy bodies closest to my psychical body.

Typically I feel this from up my back to the base of my skull.  No matter how many times I have have experienced this (hundred at this point) it has always felt disconcerting.

The goetic daemon assumes the role of an active backseat driver. I now perform tasks and functions with a great deal of compelling influences guiding my actions from the goetic daemon.

My energy matrix also becomes powerfully infused with that specific goetic daemon, and all things I make or "charge" become saturated with that goetic daemon's influence.

Any divination or consultation I perform will have the personality, view points and mannerisms of that goetic daemon liberally sprinkled over my own (which is sometimes a grand comedy).

I will not detail how my temple prepares or coaxes goetic daemon possession, either full or two-headed.

These are secrets that are only taught to the initiated for both esoteric and ethical reasons, as it would be irresponsibly to give out information that carries harmful implications.

I have read the few mainstream "pagan" books which attempt to explain the phenomena of possession, and how to bring it about.

These books are rubbish, and stand only to serve as further evidence that a "little" (I emphases little) knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Cleansing is of vital importance before and after possession.

Depending of the type of possession, you will need a water, fire, air or even earth born cleansing.

The opening cleansing will be used to remove energies that are conflicting to the type of "spirit" for which you desire t be possessed by, while the post-possession cleansing needs to be of a type which will remove the excess of energy the possessing spirit brought into the physical host.

In the case of goetic daemons and djinn, as they are fire and air, air or fire cleansing will make you more suitable to be possessed by them, but a water or earth cleansing will be needed to remove their influence when the working is complete.

Its common sense to my temple, but many houses, and Neo-Pagan/Hermetic circles have no such protocol.

There are also different grades of each elemental cleansing which change for each cleansing depending on the particular situation, and supporting circumstances.

A magician needs to become sensitive to the energy matrix of not only the goetic daemon, but the physical host, and environmental conditions as well.

I will in latter blogs include specifics in the interactions I have had and or encountered in goetic spiritism with individual daemons, their mannerisms, direct quotes and circumstances around their taking possession of me or others.
